Matti Pekkanen embarked on his journey in internet marketing in 2006, with no prior experience in websites, search engines, or entrepreneurship. Despite starting from scratch, he had a clear vision of supporting himself through affiliate marketing. Through perseverance and hard work, Matti achieved his goal within a few years. Along the way, he made mistakes and learned from them, which proved to be valuable lessons for his growth and development.

Today, Matti holds a degree in Entrepreneurship from The Finnish Institute for Enterprise Management and employs a dedicated team of 20-40 professionals across his companies.

Throughout his career, Matti has been involved in numerous projects and has been fully dedicated to the success of the Winlandia brand for the past decade. As a visionary entrepreneur, Matti is always striving to learn and improve, both for himself and his team. Christoffer Grönlund

Christoffer Grönlund has over two decades of experience in digital marketing and business development. He began his career in the IT and publishing industries before moving into the iGaming space in 2007, when he joined one of the largest casino operators in the Nordics. After a successful run as an affiliate manager, he joined the marketing team of ComeOn! in 2010 and later held senior roles in performance marketing, including Head of Programmatic at two of Sweden’s top digital agencies.

Christoffer was one of the first hires at Winlandia and currently serves as Head of Affiliates, where he leads our affiliate program and plays a key role in partner relations and performance tracking. His focus is firmly on affiliate management and driving value for our partners.

Known for his creative thinking and inclusive working style, Christoffer is a strong team player who consistently seeks out new ways to improve performance and deliver long-term results

As Executive Assistant, Otto’s role is multifaceted. He is responsible for assisting the director in a variety of tasks, including business analysis, marketing budgeting, and other administrative duties. His contributions are crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization, and his insights and suggestions are always appreciated.

Pasi Askolin

Pasi Askolin has been involved in the field of internet marketing for over 12 years. His expertise includes quality control and offline marketing for product acquisition. Pasi has procurement channels for almost anything. If a particular product is not available, Pasi can even manufacture the product himself if the situation calls for it. His manual skills and procurement contacts are inexhaustible.

Pasi also possesses many other strengths, such as fact-checking. He goes through content and verifies that the facts are accurate, and the content is produced correctly and aligns with the company’s values of responsibility. These types of tasks come naturally to Pasi due to his precise, pragmatic, and meticulous character. This trait is evident in Pasi’s management of finances and quality control.

Ville brings over a decade of experience in iGaming, starting his career at Betsson Group, where he worked with brands like CasinoEuro and later managed Finnish affiliates at Affiliate Lounge. Ville’s deep understanding of affiliate marketing, combined with a strategic mindset, has made him a respected name in the industry.

Now based in Barcelona, Ville plays a key role in both Winlandia Partners and ScandiVista Marketing OÜ. At Winlandia, he drives affiliate growth in key markets like the UK, while at ScandiVista, he helps shape the company’s vision as a co-founder—specializing in performance-based digital marketing.

In addition to his strong industry background, Ville is known for his collaborative approach, attention to detail, and ability to connect data with real-world impact.

Pipsa Paattakainen

Pipsa Paattakainen’s journey in the world of entrepreneurship began when she created a successful makeup brand from scratch, using her creative talent and business acumen. The brand grew rapidly, and Pipsa was able to sell it in order to focus on her family, particularly her children. Despite the demands of motherhood, Pipsa has remained committed to her passion for marketing and has spent the past decade honing her skills in social media marketing and content production.

In addition to her marketing expertise, Pipsa is also a talented horse trainer, having trained and cared for horses for several years. Petri Ikonen

Petri Ikonen is the company’s full stack developer, responsible for building websites and managing all other IT-related matters.

There has not been a programming language, challenge, or any other IT-related issue that Petri couldn’t handle.

While others go to sleep, Petri continues to work, or updates his skills by developing himself further.
